Hearty Midwest values with a hint of rebellion.
Sometimes one was leading me more than the other, but in the end they feed each other in a cyclical fashion.
Without passion, I would not have pursued crazy, creative, adventurous ideas throughout the years and without perseverance I wouldn't have continued toward my goals after many, excruciatingly painful failed attempts.
In my opinion, passion is either there or it isn't, though at times it can be known to grow on you over time.
Perseverance comes easier to some, but I have found ways to increase my own.
1. Counting my blessings.
2. Recognizing the silver linings in situations which are not optimal.
3. Speaking positively about myself, my life, and my goals.
Give it a try. Speaking of your goals with others can help align you with great partnerships to making them a reality. These networked relationships will be prime when you are in need of perseverance. Like minded individuals understand and are often able to help in creative adaptations for road blocks.
It is never too late to start, so focus on your 'why' and let passion lead you to the first step of your next journey. I can't wait to hear where it leads!
