Hearty Midwest values with a hint of rebellion.
In marketing there is "The Rule of Seven" which is the belief that a person must be touched by your message at least seven times before taking action. Keep this in mind when devising your content plan, as even a plan doesn't produce overnight results.
The next guideline is content. You will want to produce content that is long-lasting and easily available to your audience. This is called being 'evergreen,' meaning the content can be reused and remain relevant to your message, product, service, etc.
And then there is the 5-3-2 Rule of Social Media marketing... here we go, this is when you break out your daily planner and start building your plan.
For every 10 Social Media posts you want:
• 5 posts to be content from others which is relevant to your audience.
• 3 posts of your content which is relevant to your audience and NOT directly selling your service/product.
• 2 posts of something personal, non-work related, and fun to help humanize yourself and/or your brand.
These are the most important guides to get you started. So look at your big picture, explore your niche and the market audience you want, and start planning your content... oh, and HAVE FUN!
