This past Saturday, was the official book release and signing of Uncollapsible Cakes. I was astounded by all the smiling faces who came to see me, and those who purchased books. I am extremely grateful.
by Jen Hegge Charmaine Houck is an editor by day, at Midwest Meetings, and a writer by night. She doesn’t stop there though; she helps out with Girl Scouts, teaches classes, volunteers, and co-founded Midwest Maidens Roller Derby to name a few. She is the mother of three children, adoring wife, and The Advocate of Adventure. Houck has recently published her first book, Uncollapsible Cakes, which is a ‘recimoir’, a recipe/book that tells stories from her past along with some of her favorite cake recipes throughout.
